dandelion tattoo

The dandelion has been symbolic to a variety of cultures over the years. The dandelion has also been a popular flower in folklore and legends. Dandelion tattoos can hold a high value of symbolic importance for those who wear this unique flower. Dandelion tattoos are can be wore by both men and women, however, they are mainly chosen by women. Above that, the dandelion tattoo represents a variety of positive meanings. In this article, we will discuss dandelion tattoo designs, dandelion tattoo meanings, and you will have a chance to view several different dandelion tattoo designs. In the end, we hope that you are able to grasp a few ideas and inspiration for your next tattoo project.

The thing about dandelions is that they are such a strong part of youth. Every child can't resist them. They are fascinating and interactive and just so perfectly fun. And then we grow up and dandelions become less interesting and you walk by them all the time and never stop to actually blow on one. You remember how fun it was but you still are too busy to have fun. And something like this reminds us that there is joy in youth that ought to be cherished and not lost when we're older.

Dandelion tattoos are full of symbolic meanings that appeal to many people. One of the most popular reasons is to remind us of how delicate life is and to live life to the fullest. More reasons for having a dandelion tattoo are for luck and happiness or that dreams can come true. Dandelion tattoos also have a meaning of strength; these little flowers stand out in the grass, standing strong and tall.

butterfly tattoo designs

Butterfly tattoos are the physical symbols of the human soul and just as the night butterfly is attracted by flame, the human soul is attracted by heavenly truths. The metamorphosis of the butterfly is one of the great mysteries of Nature, a butterfly tattoo design is often used as a representation of change or simply the beauty and wonder of life and nature. You'll find many wonderful butterfly designs and lower back butterfly tattoos in our gallery, as well as tribal tattoo butterflies, butterfly flower tattoos and much more. We're sure to have the butterfly tattoo design you want, right here.

"A butterfly tattoo on a woman usually acknowledges woman as the free spirit. Like butterflies in nature, the female blossoms from a girl to a woman, equipped with the gift to create and harvest new life..."
Butterfly tattoo designs are one of the most popular choices of tattoo for women. Not only does the Butterfly encapsulate beauty and grace but it also has a lot of symbolic meaning. The metamorphosis of the butterfly, or moth, from crawling insect, to an amazing flying creature of grace and beauty, can be extremely inspirational and many women choose a butterfly to represent their own metamorphosis from girl to woman. Likewise, many people think of the butterfly as representative of the human soul or spirit. They seek to free their own spirit in a similar way to the butterfly achieving freedom when it emerges from it’s cocoon. The ritual of receiving a butterfly image indelibly inked onto their body is simply a step on the way to achieving this spiritual freedom.

utterfly Tattoo Designs. I've seen a lot of people having butterfly tattoos on their bodies. This designs are becoming a popular choice of cool tattoo designs nowadays, especially with women. Why? It's because of the flexibility of the design. Tattoo artists can improve the style to make it more sexy and incredible on those eyes who will see them.
When it comes to the butterfly tattoo on woman, there is no other tattoo style that compares. The butterfly design tattoo is the most popular tattoo style amongst women. The butterfly tattoo can be solid ink, two toned, or multi color. It looks good as a single tattoo, but most butterfly tattoos have trail ink or other images, such as stars or flowers. None the less, the butterfly tattoo can be designed in a variety of different ways. As you see on the right, this design has a great color and the stars and wind trails add beauty to this particular tattoo. This tattoo shows how two colors, blue and black, can be used. Besides yellow, you can see how the black and blue is used in dark scale and a lighter scale. This is a beautiful design.

I am a proffesional tattoo artist from London specialising in custom work. My prefered styles are colour realism, traditional and neo-traditional, but I also enjoy black & grey and custom lettering. I currently work at London Tattoo, the studio from the first series of the tv show "London Ink".

I hope that you like my work and that you'll take the opportunity to visit me at the shop in person. Simply email me to make an appointment. I look forward to seeing you!

Hey guys, looks like I haven’t blogged since October. So much has been happening and I will do my best to catch up on blog posts. Julian and I just got back to Los Angeles from a trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. We had such a great time, got to see some old friends and made a bunch of new ones. I am already looking forward to going back in 2013 and will post travel dates once they are all set.
Here’s a chest piece inspired by a song.  The song in particular is “A Light So Dim” by Black Heart Procession, and artist Jason Tyler Grace did a great job capturing the essence of the song into this tattoo.

eyebrow tattoo

A complete semi permanent makeup eyebrow treatment with Jeni is made up of 2 appointments over 4 hours; a 1st session starting with a detailed 45 minute consultation in which a portfolio of work  is shown. This is followed by re-design and ‘draw on’ time, and the practical part of the 1st appointment.

After 6 weeks the brows will have faded (up to 30%) and a top up treatment is carried out to strengthen the colour and shape if required.  A ‘less is more’ approach is taken by Jeni initially to enable clients to adjust to their new brows as this can take some time in cases of complete eyebrow loss. It is always easier to add than take away!

”Block’  brows are not undertaken; a layered ‘hairstroke’ brow takes time to complete but it gives the most realistic effect.  Cropped images of Jeni’s work are shown below with apologies for the varied lighting.
Brow Revival™ gives the effect of ultra-fine, delicate hair strokes that blend seamlessly with your natural brow hair. The technique is the result of 12 years research, design and development by our team of expert stylists.

Our brow stylists work with the “landscape” of your brow – be it too short, thin patchy or sparse – reviving the basic shape. And if your brows are completely gone we’ll re-create an entirely new brow for you.
Permanent eyebrows are essentially eyebrow tattoos, you do realize that, don't you? That means tattoo dye will be injected a bit under the surface of your skin, where it will leave permanent marks - meaning the colour. The process itself is not really painful, depending on your pain level, but usually the pins are so thin and precise you'd feel only pinching. So, permanent eyebrows are done in a salon, you should choose a really good makeup artist - check the section on what to mind when choosing one. Permanent eyebrows can be done with different colours, but my suggestion is to go with the most neutral possible - check out the eyebrow colours appropriate for different faces here. Eyebrow tattoo is permanent and will stay with you for life - the shape you choose, the colour you get - forever. Think hard, there might be other options.
The work involved with eyebrow embroidery is only performed on the skin surface. Thus, making eyebrow embroidery a MUCH SAFER treatment than eyebrow tattoos. The colour can also be adjusted in alignment with the original eyebrow hair colour, which results to a realistic look and feel. Eyebrow embroidery creates the background and fills in the parts of the eyebrows that looked empty so that a full and complete look is accomplished. The "3D" effect gives it an added realism to the end result.

Unlike an eyebrow tattoo, 3D eyebrow embroidery does not leave a flat, dull and fake look that tattoos leave behind.
I first had my eyebrows tattooed in the Nineties. Like many women, I had over-plucked in the Seventies, because of the fashion then for narrow arcs, and they had never grown back.

One of the few places to offer the procedure was Harrods - and it was hideously expensive at £800. I had them tattooed again earlier this year at the Urban Retreat - the procedure costs about £400.

tattoo locations

I have a tattoo that is on the back of my neck. It reads "from within" but in Russian. I love it and I can easily cover it with my long hair. However, I would like to get another tattoo this January and I haven't been able to think of any other, non-obvious, spots to put it. I do not want the "tramp-stamp" and I was wondering about a wrist one, but they are becoming overdone as well. Does anyone have a good idea of a spot?
I don't have tattoos myself, but I've been researching them (check out the video of me testing temporary tattoos here!), and one thing that I've been reading about are the places you can get tattooed that will REALLY make you squirm with pain.

Check out these 10 locations that tattoo professionals say are the most painful spots to get your ink.

Behind the ear - A back of ear/neck tattoo is supposed to smart like a mother, due to the thin skin.
Washed-up-at-26 rocker Lavigne got a safety pin tattooed on her neck this weekend during a girls night out and our scramp boyfriend Zac got some feathery dream catcher nonsense on his inner bicep. That's got to say something about them, right? Here are the hidden meanings behind some tattoo placements.

Neck: You have some sort of personality disorder. If you get a tattoo on your upper body outside the area covered by a long-sleeve shirt, then you are just a little bit crazy. You don't care what people think but not in a way that is healthy. More in the kind of way that Travis Bickle doesn't care what people think.
Being near downtown and visibility aren't the only reasons Caballero elected to move this location. He said he has big plans, as he's rented much of the building to implement more than just a tattoo shop.

“I've got different types of businesses that I'm putting in here as far as, I'm gonna be doing laser tattoo removal, and I'll be doing cosmetic tattooing, some other facets of the body art industry,” he said.

The parlor also will continue to do body piercing in addition to tattoos. He intends to offer massages, and in the future may add hairstyling to the list of services.

Cabellero intends this location to be a one-stop shop for almost everything concerning body art, so customers can find everything to suit their needs. He'll also be planning to make this location into a training center.

“In the summer I'm going to be doing apprenticeships and offering opportunities for artists to learn,” said Caballero. “Instead of doing them doing it in the street, I'd like to try to get them off the street, and try to bring them into a studio, show them the right way to do things.”
MELBOURNE — Somewhere amid the buzz of a tattoo gun, artists trading jokes, and good money being made, Dustin Waite discovered at a young age what he wanted to do with his life. He had known since the sixth grade he wanted to run a business, later settling on tattoos. In September, the 20-year-old got his wish when he opened Black Diamond Tattoo.

He said he hopes the shop’s unlikely location — a plaza on Wickham Road in north Melbourne, near businesses like Batteries Plus and Fujiyama Seafood & Steak — will help be part of its appeal.
